| Trailhead’s Domina (Mina, for short) was born September 25, 2010 out of Trailhead’s Bali and CH Giacomo of Bajer litter. Initially deemed “Purple Puppy” by Katherine, she proved to be friendly and outgoing… exactly what we were looking for. We chose a latin name; Domina, meaning ‘lady’, in keeping with her Roman roots. Mina came to live with us in southern New Jersey just around Thanksgiving 2010 and has been stealing everyone’s hearts ever since. Dennis has had large breed dogs in the past, but this is my first dog ever! Mina has been an excellent introduction to the dog world. She is a quick-learner, eager to please and very affectionate. Her temperament is outstanding. She’s gentle with children and loves my Grandmother, but still protects the yard, alerts us of wary strangers and stands her ground with other dogs. Although petite for her age, she “polices” the behavior of all the dogs at the park and is the first to break up any squabbles. She is always looking out for the smaller dogs. She loves to jog with me, wrestles with Dennis and has boundless energy. Her favorite summer activity is anything in the pool, river or lake! At the end of a busy day, Mina looks forward to a peanut butter treat and curling up on her pillow. She’s a great Cane Corso! written by: Kelly, Mina's owner |
